Costumes


Audrenas - I love this place!

Topkapi Designs - Pretty sparkly glittery things!

Artemis Imports - A good place for fringe and other supplies!

Dahlal International - I spend more money here than anywhere else, except maybe amazon.com. This is a great place for music and videos.

Turkish Beaded Costumes - So-so stuff, okay prices, but you can get it anywhere.

Belly Dance Treasures - Lots of stuff here!

Unicorn Bellydance Supplies   -  Another place where I have spent money and been treated very well.

Chandras   -  Both Cabaret and Tribal stuff.

Cost Less Costumes - They don't actually cost less.... lots of other good stuff there though

Davina   -  Dawn Devine Brown, a lovely site with lots of info.

Aleenas Belly Dance Mall - Worthy of a visit.

Tribalmax - A wonderful shop in Oregon where I get all my tribal jewellry from. A married couple who work together well!

Flying Skirts - These are the folks that costume Fat Chance Bellydance.

Bellyroll Costumes - Another good place for tribal costume stuff.

Kuchi Jewelry - Drool - Drool - Drool.

Shisha Glass - Here's the kind of info that everybody should have.




Edmonton Dancers With Websites

Edmontons Bellydance Website - Done By Shahenda of Isis Dance. Someone I stood beside in class years ago and still love dearly!!!

Alina - Stunning dancer with a talent for zills that is unparalelled!

Isis Dance Productions - Where I started my dance career, you have to see the store in person, it's yummy.

Tascheleia - One of my former instructors, and an amazing dancer.

Viraj - A great guy to hang out with and dance with! Just one of the girls in the dressing room though!

Tatiana - Grace on tippy-toes, and a gentle soul who is beautiful inside and out.

Crystal - Crystal is joyful, adorable, and can roll around on the floor with a sword on her head without looking the least bit worried!!!

Aldiya - Producer of the Oumi Oumi Hizzi Recitals, and someone I was proud to be a student with.


Little Bits Of The Rest Of The World

Yazmina Ramzy An amazing lady from Toronto, I spent a weekend under her ministrations and haven't been the same since.

Suhaila Salimpour - The Lady I went to San Fransisco to study with.

Hadia - A wonderful lady to take workshops with if you get the chance.

Nourhan Sharif - Another amazing dancer that I have been fortunate to study with.

Beata And Horatio - World class dancers who came here in November to teach. It was too cool to have them here! They were wonderful!

Shaharazad - The queen of costumes. She is from Berlin, she is stunning, and puts out really good show videos.

Shira - Some of the best info on the web can be found here. Pack a lunch and be prepared to stay a while.

Yazminas' Joy of Bellydancing - A site with tons of stuff to peruse! Plan to spend lots of time here.

Jeff Oberman - A wonderful monster sized gallery by a photographer-musician who is married to a bellydancer.

Shanmonster - Lots of good photos

Bhuz - Another of the best info sites going!

Desert Dancer - Info and stuff for tribal dancers to spend money on.

Desertmoondance - A dance company in St. Louis, Missouri.

Guilded Serpent - The biggest bellydance website out there, based in San Francisco, and absolutely full of articles that need reading. Plan to spend months going through this site!

Rania - A dancer from Los Angeles, check out the video clips on her site.

Suzanna DelVecchio - A Denver native who can dance like a Goddess! Her videos are quite pricey but worth their weight in gold!

Jillina - Snappy, tight choreographies, great videos, and wonderful to watch. There are clips on her site to enjoy.

Chelydra - Her dance name came from a turtle... she sure doesn't look like a turtle though!





Tribal Sites

Rachel Brice - The one woman I really really really want to go study with. Watch her videos and be amazed.

Fat Chance Bellydance - The grandest of the tribal troupes, out of San Francisco.

Awalim Dance Company - A much publicised troupe from Atlanta Georgia.

Urban Tribal - From the San Diego area, these ladies are ver well known all over North America.

Ultra Gypsy - Out of the San Francisco area, this troupe is directed by Jill Parker, formerly of Fat Chance Bellydance.

Kajira Djoumahna - Another stunning troupe, this time from Santa Rosa, California.

Jewels - A tribal troupe with a slightly neo-pagan twist. You can find them in San Bruno, California.

Read My Hips - This is one of the long standing troupes from the Chicago area.

Sisters Of The Shawl - A great place to shop at in Bennington, Vermont. They are in this section instead of the online shopping section because of the wicked-cool online newsletter, but they are a monster shopping site that is drool worthy.

Tribal Feat - Tribal Feat has their headquarters on the Central Coast of California, in San Luis Obispo County.


Mp3’s on the web


Mazika.com - A site that has music from all over the Middle East, search by name or by country.

MP3.com - A place that has up and coming musicians that you can legally download with the permission of the musicians. Try "arabic" or other Middle Eastern terms in the search engine.

Music Axis - A huge site with a Bellydance MP3 section, as well as Arabic music videos and bellydance videos.
